I use the methods of the energy landscapes framework to investigate the structures and self-assembly of nanoparticles, as well as the properties of machine learning solutions for chemical and medical problems.
I am the Director of Studies in chemistry for Downing students. I supervise chemistry students in the first, second and third years, all within the Natural Sciences Tripos. I lecture on symmetry and quantum mechanics, and organise computational chemistry practicals.
