Dr Francesco Muschitiello
Arnell Fellow in Climate Repair and Fellow in Geography
Associate Professor in Physical Geography

Francesco's expertise revolves around the use of physical and chemical evidence preserved in geological archives to reconstruct past climate around the world. His current research focuses on the development of geochronometric techniques to improve the accuracy and precision of chronologies of ice cores and deep-sea sediment records. Francesco's academic interests also include the evaluation of climate models to improve predictability for future climate change.
