Downing Fellow appointed Director of MRI at leading research facility

Professor Guy Williams, Fellow in Clinical Neurosciences, has been appointed as the Director of MRI in the Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre (WBIC), a major research facility within the University of Cambridge. He will also be taking on the role of interim WBIC Director, which he will hold until 1 September.

The new roles will sit alongside his current role as Senior Tutor at Downing.

"The Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre is a leading University biomedical imaging centre for cognitive and clinical research. It hosts my own research as well as that of several current, emeritus and honorary fellows - as well as doctoral students - of the College," said Professor Williams.

"It will be a privilege to help to develop its research further and will complement my responsibilities for education within Downing."
