The future is…equal?

A virtual panel discussion

Thursday 11 March, 17:30–18:30

Join the Master, Alan Bookbinder, and our alumni panel to discuss the impact of the pandemic on equality and the division of labour.

Recent studies have shown that women may be more likely than men to lose work or be overburdened with childcare, homeschooling and housework in the current situation. Is this really the case and, if so, can it be reversed? Or does the crisis provide opportunities to redress the gender balance, and give a new impetus for policymakers to explore the debate about roles at work, as well as at home?

Join Victoria Brignell (1994) Honorary Fellow and Disability Champion; Farmida Bi (1986) Chair, Norton Rose Fulbright; Dharshini David (1991) Senior Correspondent (Economics & Trade), BBC News; and Henrietta Royle (1981) Chief Executive Officer, Operis, for an insightful talk and a Q&A session.

Join our Zoom session from a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android device.
