I am a physician-scientist with a background in pharmacology. My particular interest is intracellular calcium signalling, with a focus on the role of calcium channels in health and disease. I also maintain an interest in medical ethics, and am a keen advocate for collaborations between the basic sciences, clinical sciences, and the arts and humanities.
