Downing Enterprise is an annual competition for all students of Downing College who wish to submit the outline of a business idea.
2020 Competition
All undergraduate and postgraduate students at Downing are invited to enter the Downing Enterprise Competition.
If you / your team have a business or start-up idea, please submit a one-page business plan with your start- up idea and you could win up to £2,000.
The one-page business plans will be reviewed by the Downing Enterprise Board, formed of Downing alumni who have entered the investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting and IP backgrounds industries.
If your entry is shortlisted, you and / or your team will:
- receive mentorship from a board member
- be given presentation skills training
- be invited to pitch your idea in the Howard Theatre
The board will decide on the winners of the prize after the pitch event.
