Arts and Humanities Webinar
Tuesday 23rd June
Downing College is running an Arts & Humanities Webinar for students currently in year 10 or 11 who are interested in studying these subject areas at the University of Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to take a virtual tour of the College, learn more about the University, hear from current students, talk to academics and be given practical advice to support their learning. The webinar will start at 10am and end at 3pm, with regular breaks throughout the day.

11:20am – Break
11:30am – Student Life Talk
12:00pm – Lunch Break
1:00pm – Super-Curricular Workshop
1:50pm – Break
2:00pm – Academic Taster Session
2:30pm – Q&A
3:00pm – Finish
This is a free event for students to join but requires registration as spaces are limited to 100. Register your interest for the webinar here.
How to apply
To apply for this event you must be:
- A current year 10 or 11 student in the UK
- Be able to achieve The University of Cambridge entrance requirements.
Students who meet any of the below criteria will be prioritised:
- No parental history of higher education
- Current state school student
- Currently or previously living under local authority care
- Eligible for Free School Meals (currently, or in the previous six years)
- IMD deciles 1-3
- School/college progression rates to higher education
- Disability/extenuating circumstances which has affected study
- Ethnicity: BME students
- Young carer
- POLAR 4 classification 1 or 2
