Dates will be listed here as they become available. All dates are subject to change should unforeseen circumstances arise.

If you have applied to Downing College and know that you will be unable to make one or more of the days specified for your subject or during the expected interview period, email the Admissions Officer, Kate Flint (admissions@dow.cam.ac.uk) as soon as possible. If enough notice is given, it may be possible to avoid scheduling your interviews on those days.  It is not possible to make any changes after you have been notified of your interview times.

Please note that interviews can start as early as 8.30am, with the later ones finishing around 6.30pm.

We encourage candidates who will have interviews at other universities, to let us know as soon as possible about any potential clashes with interviews elsewhere.

The College does not normally offer undergraduate places to candidates who are unavailable for interview.

Downing College does not offer remote interviews; however, where there are strong extenuating circumstances where an applicant is unable to travel to Cambridge or an overseas interview location, a remote interview may be considered.   There is no guarantee that such interviews will be able to take place in any given case since they depend on the availability of resources and interviewers.  Applicants who may require a remote interview must contact the Admissions Officer (admissions@dow.cam.ac.uk) as early as possible in their application process.
