This information describes the computing facilities available to you at the University of Cambridge and what you need to know and do before you arrive.  You will be provided with the necessary computing facilities to complete your academic work.  Please also browse these pages which contain a wealth of information about computing in Cambridge.  During the summer or following confirmation of your postgraduate course, you will be sent an email from the Pro-Vice Chancellor containing detailed instructions and a link to the CamSIS Student Registration web pages.  You should only undertake the registration process when you receive this email and must be completed by the start of the Michaelmas Term 2019, when registration closes.  On completing Student Registration, you will be given a time-limited link to collect your computing accounts, CRSID (username) and an initial password.  For further information on how to complete this process please refer to this information.
