The Twining Egginton Prize Winners 2022

The Twining Egginton Prize was established in 2014 by Downing alumnus Edward G. Blankenship (Architecture, 1968) in honour of his friend and fellow architect Geoffrey Twining Egginton and his wife, Susan.

For the first time since its inception, the entries for the competition were displayed in The Heong Gallery over the course of two weeks. Students who requested help with ideas, materials, or presentation were assisted by the Curator in realising their visions. In all, there were twenty-two entries from fifteen students, across several media, including acrylics, ceramics, digital collage, embroidery, film, photography, sculpture, and watercolour.

The judges were Vicki Ambery-Smith and Dr Lucy Whelan.
