Women Making Change: In Conversation with Amelia Miller
Friday 14 March, 6pm-7.30pm
Alumna Amelia Miller studied Psychological and Behavioural Science at Downing from 2016 to 2019. She is the co-founder of Ivee.jobs, an innovative job platform dedicated to providing free resources and support for women returning to work following career breaks.
Through her work, Amelia is debunking myths related to the gender pay gap and is tirelessly working to develop answers to the Motherhood Penalty problem.
Inspired by her own experiences, Amelia is committed to restoring women’s confidence following career breaks. As part of this commitment, Amelia is on a mission to highlight that such breaks, in and of themselves, can make women better employees, leaders and team players.
Join Cambridge University Behavioural Insights Society (CUBISS) in collaboration with Downing Psychological and Behavioural Sciences (PBS) Society and Professor Amy Milton to find out more about Amelia’s journey from reading Psychology at Cambridge to starting her own business. We would love for this to be an interactive event, so please come ready to ask questions!
The talk will take place in the Music Room, followed by a drinks reception in the Tim Cadbury Room.
Book a spot at the talk via the Eventbrite page.
