The Launch of The Leaves 2026

Downing's annual literary magazine The Leaves will officially launch its 2026 edition at The Heong Gallery on Thursday 30 April 2026 from 5.30pm. 

A selection of this year's poetry and prose contributions will be read out by their authors. 

There will be offerings from all the other creative arts in College: both a theatrical and musical performance and the announcement of the Twining Egginton Art Prize 2026 winner. 

The event will be followed by the English Society Dinner at 7.30pm in the Dining Hall.
