Students Living Out
The majority of Postgraduate students, and some Undergraduate students, do not live in College accommodation. The Downing community spreads out beyond the boundaries of the Domus and we hope that students who live out feel as much part of the College as those in residence.
We will always strive to ensure that College facilities are available equally to all members and we hope that those living out will come into College and make full use of them, whether that is to access academic facilities, to enjoy the College gardens, order take-away from the Buttery, or book to spend an evening in the Taverna.
If you are a postgraduate student who living out of College and planning to undertake a period of fieldwork, you are strongly advised to determine the attitude of your landlord or host family to the possibility of quarantine prior to making any commitments.
