Quarantine and isolation support
The College is continuing to support those students who are required to undertake a period of self-isolation for quarantine or infection control reasons.
The document detailing the rules and support for those in self-isolation can be downloaded here (via the Downing Intranet). Please ensure that you read these carefully. You will be expected to abide by the rules and procedures. The health, safety and wellbeing of the Downing community relies on the considerate and responsible actions of its members.
If you have any questions relating to isolation support or quarantine on arrival in College accommodation please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are currently living alone in College and feel you would benefit from some more regular contact you may wish to form a support bubble with another household. This is permitted in College within the guidelines set out by the Collegiate University and in accordance with Government advice.
Once you’re in a support bubble, you can think of yourself as being in one ‘household’. It means you can have close contact with the other household in your bubble as if they were members of your own household. This means you do not need to maintain social distance with people in your support bubble.
Support bubbles are administered by the Covid Isolation Support Team.
