Downing Alumni Sports Fund

The Downing Alumni Sports fund provides small grants to enable undergraduate and postgraduate students to participate in sporting activities. Applications are welcomed from those competing at any level, but priority will be given to small awards which enable students to participate in sports which they have not previously been able to try. Repeat applications are less likely to be favoured. You can download the application form here or pick up a paper application form from the carousel outside the Tutorial and Admissions Office. The closing date is noon, Tuesday 14 November 2017.  Late applications cannot be considered.

Griffins Alumni Sports Fund

A number of Griffins Alumni have kindly put a fund together to help Griffins members who represent the University in any Full Blue or Half Blue sport. Ultimate Frisbee players are included although not officially recognised by the University. The fund is designed to help cover costs associated with playing sport at a university level, such as annual subs, transport or coaching. The fund is managed and will be advertised by the Griffins Club.

Hawks Charitable Trust

The Hawks Fund and Eric Evans Fund provide grants for University level sports players. Full details can be found at their website.
