Downing PhD student Tom Chudley features in the Cambridge University science magazine, Bluesci, talking about a new museum exhibition at the Polar Museum.

Tom is part of a research group which has recently collaborated on a new museum exhibit at the Polar Museum called Uummannaq: A Century of Exploration in Greenland.  The exhibition details the 1909-1912 expeditions of meteorologist and explorer Alfred de Quervain to the Uummannaq region of West Greenland, and this is paired with images and instruments from a recent research expedition to the area in 2017.

The exhibition, Uummannaq: A century of exploration in Greenland, runs from Wednesday 27 September to Friday 22 December 2017.
