The Cambridge Choral Experience

The Cambridge Choral Experience is open exclusively to students from state-maintained schools and is free of charge (buffet lunch and refreshments included).  Held at Old Divinity School, St John's College, Cambridge.

An insight into the University of Cambridge's choral world through full-choir singing and small-group sectionals with Directors of Music and Choral Scholars, a vocal workshop, tours of College, talks on admissions and Choral Awards, and a final performance in a Chapel setting.

Saturday 22nd June - 09.30 - 18.00

for girls and boys from school years 7-10

Sunday 23rd June 09.30 - 18.00

for girls and boys from school years 11-13

University Open Days 4th and 5th July 2019

Downing College will be open during the Cambridge University open days on 4th and 5th July 2019.

You do not need to book to visit Downing College but you will need to book onto the Cambridge University open days, please book via the University Open Days page when booking opens in April.

Downing College will be open on both of these days between 09.30 - 16.00.  You can just drop in and look round the College; there will be tours with current undergraduates, accommodation to view and admissions staff on hand to answer any questions.

 

Downing College Open Day Friday 20 September

This open day is for all subjects and will run from approximately 10am - 2.30pm (times to be confirmed).  There will be a talk by the Admissions Tutor, meetings with Directors of Studies, lunch in College and a chance to look round the College.
