There are many Fellows and Staff at Downing College who are dedicated to providing students with the pastoral, tutorial, academic and practical support that individual students need from time to time.

Tutors make every effort to support their individual Tutee’s academic progress and general welfare. It is in your best interest to inform your Tutor, as soon as possible of any illness or difficulty likely to affect your work or examination performance.

The Chaplain, Keith Eyeons, offers in confidence both spiritual care and/or a listening ear to any student, of any faith or none, who needs it.

Another source of confidential support in College is the College Nurse, Sally Maccallum, who is a qualified Registered Nurse and has many years of experience in student health matters.

Student Welfare Officers are able to assist fellow students in many areas.
